The primary purpose of the Sanctuary Choir is to lead the musical worship of the 11:00 a.m. traditional-styled worship service each Sunday morning. The group provides leadership for the congregation on hymns and service music, and presents psalms and/or anthems. Several times during the Christian year, the choir presents special music in worship and in concert.
The Sanctuary Choir is always open to new members. No audition is required and the group has singers of all levels. Church membership is also not a requirement. The only pre-requisites are a love for great sacred music and for inspired reformed worship. However, previous choral experience and music reading ability is extremely helpful. Leadership in each section is provided by choral scholars from Catawba College.

Weekly rehearsals:
When: Wednesdays 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Childcare provided) For new singers, 7:20 p.m. is recommended.
Where: Choir room, beneath the sanctuary. Enter by the sanctuary door off the main parking lot. Go up the pulpit side of the sanctuary and down the steps.

Sunday mornings:
A small ensemble out of the choir rehearses at 7:45 a.m. in the choir room and then sings for the 8:30 a.m. service.
The full choir rehearses at 10:30 a.m. in the choir room and then sings at the 11:00 a.m. service.
