New to First Pres?

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury, NC! We are a place where God’s love is alive for mission. We take care of one another, whether that be inside our church family, in Salisbury and Rowan County, or out in the US and the world.

Join us on Sundays for worship at 8:30 am in Lewis Hall or at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. We also offer a livestream of our 11:00 am service online on Facebook and YouTube on Sundays.

Typically, we worship in two styles: Traditional Worship with organ and choir in the Sanctuary and Contemporary with our praise band in our multi-purpose building's Lewis Hall. Both are excellent.

If you’re interested in learning more about First Presbyterian, or getting connected, email one of our Pastors. You can find their bios and contact information HERE.

Virtual Sunday School and In-person classes are also available, reach out to our Interim Co-Directors of Christian Formation, Robin Fisher or Kathy Sanborn.

"I feel the Holy Spirit here, my heart swells when I’m listening

to the sermon or hearing the exquisite music...

but mostly I feel IT when I’m in the fellowship of my church family.

I’m not native to Salisbury, but I feel home thanks to First Pres."

Sara Lee

"This church spiritually feeds our family. From the children's faith formation programs to the adult Sunday School classes and the worship services.

We love our church and our church family."
