A message from your staff
What a year it has been. In 12 months’ time, our congregation will have worshiped together in about eight different ways, from pre-pandemic in-person worship to prerecorded services to livestream and courtyard vespers. Yet you, the people of First Presbyterian Church have been resilient. You have remained open and flexible with the changing tides of this year.
It has not been easy for any of us, but as the staff here at First Presbyterian Church, we are grateful for you. We pray that this Christmas will be a reminder of the limitless power of God to draw close to God’s people in any circumstance. God has indeed been faithful to us.
Though it will be different than any other, we pray that you will find space to name the losses of this year and give thanks to God for the gifts that remain: loved ones, health, homes, food on the table, and a church family that loves you.
Merry Christmas dear ones,
The Staff of First Presbyterian Church
